Europe-based color manufacturer for industrial and residential consumers wanted to connect with businesses and customers through a user-friendly mobile app. This augmented reality mobile app offers a wide range of color brands to help customers visualize a new paint for their project ensuring they get it right the first time.
Objective
The client needed a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) virtual paint mobile application for consumers to decorate their home, inside and out, choosing the paint brand colors without lifting a paintbrush, ensuring to get the right color at the first attempt. The solution needed to have an intuitive and responsive user interface enabling the user to navigate through the mobile application with ease. The app must also have an editing tool for anyone looking to remodel such as painters, realtors, interior decorators and landscape designers.

Approach
To deliver an augmented reality paint app, the team at Rishabh Software designed, developed, tested and deployed the mobile application for iPhone and Android mobile phones. The solution methodology was focused on building native applications for iOS & Android platforms to include virtual image processing functions right from color selection, to building color combinations and textures by adding 10+ paint brand colors providing access to 20,000+ additional paint options. The solution was also integrated with CAPSURE hardware device for identifying paint colors via Bluetooth technology.
