Welcome to the video case study presentation of a knowledge management portal solution developed by Rishabh Software.
The knowledge management portal solution was developed for one of our global client who offers product life cycle management services. They have offices in US & Italy.

 

The major challenge faced by the client was primarily low productivity, as there was no automated solution for managing their various technical documentations.

 

Also missing was a content management solution with automated workflows to manage various processes like content creation, approval and publishing in their existing solution.

 

Another business challenge faced by the client was its existing infrastructure. Their infrastructure was not updated with latest technology, and due to various business processes, approvals became quite complex. This resulted in high performance loss and increased maintenance costs.

 

To address these business challenges, Rishabh developed a knowledge management portal solution for the client. We used ASP.net as the front-end and Umbraco in the back-end as the content management solution, to manage its various technical and business documents.

 

The portal featured a multi-tenant architecture and served multi-lingual capabilities, covering languages like Chinese, Spanish, and English.

 

To manage various user subscriptions and e-commerce services, Rishabh’s team integrated the portal with uWebshop e-commerce plugin.

 

A responsive user interface design was implemented for easy access to the portal from various users through different browsers and devices like tablets and smartphones.

 

This solution helped the end-user for primarily ensuring compliance as it managed more than 40,000 data records.

 

It also helped in improving the overall productivity as real-time notifications & information was shared among the users. A unique user experience was delivered through its simple responsive design.
